Welcome to AI Without Fear ("we", "us", "our"), operated by Douglas Mizzi. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website (aiwithoutfear.com.au) and your participation in our AI training workshops and courses.

By accessing our website, registering for a free workshop, or purchasing a paid course, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

AI Without Fear provides in-person AI training workshops designed for professionals aged 40–65+. Our services include:

• A free 2-hour introductory workshop to help you understand AI fundamentals in a relaxed, supportive environment.

• Four paid full-day workshops (Modules 1–4) that progressively build your practical AI skills, covering topics from AI-powered content creation to building websites, apps, and automation tools.

• A discounted Full Series Bundle that includes all four paid workshops at a reduced rate.

• Downloadable study notes provided to registered and enrolled participants.

All workshops are delivered as live, in-person sessions at locations specified at the time of booking. Class sizes are intentionally kept small to ensure every participant receives hands-on guidance and personal support.

Free Workshop: Registration for our free 2-hour introductory workshop is managed through TryBooking or via our website. Registering for the free workshop creates a member account on our platform, giving you access to your study notes and course information.

Paid Courses: Paid workshop enrolments are processed securely through Stripe. Upon successful payment, a member account is automatically created (if one does not already exist), and you are enrolled in the relevant course(s). You will receive a confirmation email with your login details and course information.

By registering or purchasing, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and complete. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

All prices on our website are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

Current pricing (subject to change):

• Single Module (1 person): $299 AUD

• Single Module + 1 Guest: $398 AUD

• Full Series Bundle (1 person): $1,100 AUD

• Full Series Bundle + 1 Guest: $1,500 AUD

We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time. Any price changes will not affect bookings that have already been confirmed and paid for.

Payment is required in full at the time of booking. We accept major credit cards and debit cards through our secure payment processor, Stripe.

We understand that plans can change. Our refund and cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our participants and our business.

Change of Mind: Once a course has been purchased and payment confirmed, we do not offer refunds for a change of mind. Our courses require significant preparation, venue booking, and resource allocation, and your place is reserved exclusively for you upon purchase.

Extenuating Circumstances: We recognise that life can be unpredictable. If you are unable to attend your booked session due to genuine extenuating circumstances (such as illness, family emergency, or other unforeseen events), please contact us as soon as possible. We will work with you to transfer your enrolment to an alternative course date when one becomes available in your area. Transfers are subject to availability and offered at our discretion.

Cancellation by Us: In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a workshop or course (for example, due to insufficient enrolments, venue issues, or unforeseen circumstances), we will offer you the choice of:

• A full refund of the amount paid, processed back to your original payment method; or

• Transfer to an alternative course date of your choosing, subject to availability.

We will provide as much notice as possible in the event of a cancellation and will communicate directly with all affected participants.

Free Workshops: As no payment is involved, free workshop registrations may be cancelled at any time by contacting us. We do ask that you let us know if you can no longer attend so we can offer your place to someone else.

We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all participants. By attending our workshops, you agree to:

• Treat all participants, facilitators, and staff with respect and courtesy.

• Refrain from any behaviour that is disruptive, offensive, or discriminatory.

• Follow any reasonable directions given by the facilitator or venue staff.

• Not record, photograph, or livestream workshop sessions without prior written consent.

We reserve the right to remove any participant whose conduct is deemed inappropriate or disruptive, without refund.

All content on the AI Without Fear website and within our course materials — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, videos, study notes, worksheets, slide presentations, and downloadable resources — is the intellectual property of Douglas Mizzi / AI Without Fear, unless otherwise stated.

This content is protected by Australian and international copyright law. You may not:

• Reproduce, distribute, or republish any of our content without prior written permission.

• Use our materials for commercial purposes, resale, or to deliver competing training services.

• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on our content.

Permitted Use: Enrolled participants are granted a limited, non-transferable, personal licence to access and use downloaded study notes and course materials for their own private, non-commercial use. This licence does not extend to sharing materials with third parties.

The AI Without Fear name, logo, and branding are trademarks of Douglas Mizzi. Unauthorised use is prohibited.

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Information We Collect: When you register for a workshop, purchase a course, or contact us, we may collect personal information including your name, email address, phone number, business name, and payment details (processed securely by Stripe — we do not store your card information).

How We Use Your Information:

• To process your registration and manage your enrolment.

• To provide you with access to course materials and your member portal.

• To communicate with you about your bookings, including confirmations and updates.

• To send you relevant information about upcoming workshops or courses (you can unsubscribe at any time).

• To improve our services and website experience.

Data Security: We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. Your data is stored securely and access is restricted to authorised personnel only.

Third-Party Services: We use trusted third-party services including Stripe (payment processing) and TryBooking (event registration). These services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.

Your Rights: You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. To make a request, please contact us using the details provided below.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

Our workshops and course materials are designed to provide practical AI training and education. However, we make no guarantees regarding specific outcomes, results, or business benefits from attending our courses.

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law:

• Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant course or workshop.

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation in our courses or use of our website.

• We are not responsible for any loss of data, business interruption, or technical issues you may experience when using tools or techniques taught during our workshops.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

You agree to use our website lawfully and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict the use and enjoyment of, the website by any third party.

You must not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website, its servers, or any connected systems.

• Use the website to transmit any harmful code, malware, or unsolicited communications.

• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract content from the website without our written consent.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure the website is available and functioning correctly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the website for maintenance or updates without notice.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland, Australia.

In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us first so we can attempt to resolve the matter informally and amicably. We are a legitimate, caring business and we genuinely want the best outcome for everyone involved.
